Cilny O Introduction

Cilny O is a combination of two medicines – Cilnidipine and Olmesartan which help treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker, which helps to prevent calcium from entering the cells of the heart and blood vessels. Olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, which helps to block the action of certain natural substances that tightens the blood vessels, resulting in a lowering of blood pressure.

Uses For Cilny O

Cilny O is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps to prevent and reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney disease. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Mechanism of Action

Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that works by keeping calcium from entering the cells of the heart and blood vessels. This helps widen (dilate) blood vessels and helps reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney disease. Olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that works by blocking the action of angiotensin, a substance that narrows the blood vessels, increasing blood pressure. By blocking the action of angiotensin, blood vessels remain open and blood pressure is lowered.

How Long Does it Take to Work?
