Hydrocortisone Acetate is rapidly absorbed after topical administration. Neomycin is well absorbed following topical administration.

Route of Elimination

Hydrocortisone Acetate is metabolized by hepatic enzymes to inactive metabolites. Neomycin is metabolized by renal elimination.

Dosage

Framycort is available in three strengths: 1%, 2.5%, and 10%. It is usually applied thinly to the affected area two to four times daily.
