Fondaflo Introduction

Fondaflo sodium is a synthetic anticoagulant from a class of medications known as antithrombotics, also known as “blood thinners”. Uses for Fondaflo

Fondaflo is used to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism, including in patients undergoing certain orthopedic surgery procedures such as hip, knee, or abdominal surgery. It is also used in patients with unstable angina, or non-Q wave myocardial infarction.

Mechanism of Action

How long does it take to work?

Absorption
